Thanks for reading and commenting! How much the Robot thinks, and WHAT he thinks about, is a mystery yet to be plumbed... I think it's safe to say he notices everything, but doesn't always understand it like a human might.
I enjoy the "plastic rubbish" idea. Our genius isn't simply lusting for wealth. When presented with the possibility of an electronics upgrade, he doesn't just decline, he's actually offended. He's passing on upgrading AI power for the aesthetic. To him, the entire thing is about his art. The crime is the art, the robot is the medium, the electronics are like brushes. -Milw770
